Welcome to Croydon Caving Club

We are a friendly caving club with membership in London and across the country, and welcome new members at all levels of experience.

We have a cottage “Godre Pentre” in the South Wales village of Ystradfellte, which is well located for Porth yr Ogof (PYO), Little Neath River Cave (LNRC) and about 20 minutes from Penwyllt and the extensive Ogof Ffynnon Ddu (OFD) cave system. The cottage is available for hire by caving (and other outdoor) clubs.

We run weekend trips to the club cottage, and to other UK caving areas (eg Mendips, Forest of Dean). Dates for these trips are on the 2009 club diary. The next club meeting will be the AGM, held towards the end of February. Beyond the UK, club members have been involved in surveying expeditions to the Matienzo, Northern Spain.

There is a monthly pub meet in the Plough and Harrow in Hammersmith on the first Thursday of every month. The next pub meet is on 2nd July.
